I've had it!

Well, unfortunately Courtney has yet another urinary tract infection. I have had it with this awful mess she's had to go through. I scheduled an appointment for a second opinion with a different urologist in a couple of weeks. This is her second UTI since her surgery which was suppose to fix this whole problem. My frustration comes out of the fact that she is only 12 months old, she has tried 7 different antibiotics over the last 7 months, has had to battle 5 UTI's in that same amount of time and for 5 weeks after her surgery had to be catheterized 3 times a day because her little body decided it didn't want to pee on its own. So we've been through the ringer, luckily none of this is life threatening, but if it keeps going on it could become a problem for her kidney fuction. So I'm a little frustrated today... We'll see what the other urologist says, her appointment is on October 10th. Until then, I guess we'll just finish the latest round of this different antibiotic and then go back to her usual routine of her preventative antibiotics every night. AHHHHH!
