Dallas Arboretum
We were able to get out and enjoy a beautiful Spring day. We went to the Dallas Arboretum's presentation of "Dallas Bloom". It was so gorgeous. All the flowers were in full bloom and the smell of Spring was delightful. We went with my family here, my aunt Julie and my two cousins, Melissa and Shannon and all the kids. I think that is the best part of living here is getting to know my family that I didn't really know before we got here. They are awesome! We had a great time chasing after all the kids and enjoying the weather and flowers.
In other news, Courtney recently had her hearing test done under anesthesia simultaneously with her lateset surgery. The urological part of the surgery went great. Her urologist is confident he fixed the remaining risk of reflux. However the audiologist conducting her ABR hearing test found that she has a moderate degree of hearing loss. Which basically means she needs to get some hearing aids. They are going to do some more testing to be 100% positive, but her audiologist is fairly sure that she needs to be fitted for hearing aids. This is just another little bump in the road for Courtney, but I know that she is getting the best care possible to help her develop as "normally" as we can. It also means we get to learn a new language, ASL (American Sign Language) to help her communicate as well. So that is pretty neat. I also just want to say thank you to my friend Amy Rossi for her help and support to me with all of this. She also has a child with hearing loss. Thanks Amy! Well, that is all for now. Until next time, hope you are all enjoying the spring, especially my good friend Cami in Boston who just got a couple feet of fresh snow!

Poor little Courtney! I am having a tough time with the possibility of Andrew getting tubes.
Did you buzz Zack's hair? I like it!
Your kids are sooo cute! It looks so nice and warm there.
And I have the popcorn song stuck in my head now that I read your last post. :)
Thanks for the shout out Stace. I am happy to help. I love reading about your life in Dallas, and seeing pics of your adorable kidos.
