This about sums up my day...

Listed in todays blog you will find the "lowlights" of my day.
1. My allergies flared up so bad and my eyes were watering like Niagara Falls and I would've itched my face off given enough time. I looked stoned all day because my eyes were so red.
2. Zack peed all over the carpet and couch in the living room like it was a freakin' tree in the forest. Okay, where did that come from???
3. Dustin had to work this afternoon and six, yes 6 phone calls later I found someone to watch my kids so I could go to work. A friend of mine from work who drove a 1/2 hour to come and get them. I hate having no family around.
4. Courtney colored all over herself and clothes with a yellow marker while I was cleaning up the pee. At least it was yellow and not black, right?!
5. I then continued to knock over a full cup of a raspberry smoothie all over the kitchen floor with enough force to make a seriously sticky mess all over the kitchen.
6. Went on to recieve a phone call from Courtney's pediatrician saying after 10 days of antibiotics she still has a UTI. Nice... I've taken up residency at Walgreens in the cleaning supply isle.
7. At work I was called over to another clinic because the nurse couldn't get an IV in a totally dehydrated 17 month old. I missed myself and the worn out, stressed out parents didn't want me to try again, understandably.
So I ended my day feeling like a total failure. Ever have one of those days? Hopefully tomorrow will be better. As chicken little says, "Today is a new day!"

Darn it Stace! I hate those days when nothing seems to go right. I have to admit though, it was pretty funny to read your post. Oh well, thankfully we get another day to start all over.

I love you and miss you and if I were living in Houston I would drive to your house and take care of Zack and Courtney. Maybe you should get some chips and salsa and a large coke on the rocks. That will help. xoxox
