Home Improvements
We love our home. Over the past two years it has truly become ours. The only problem with buying an 11 year old house, is that it was built in the 90's and apparently people in the 90's living in Texas thought gold hardware and wallpaper were the jimmy jam... because we've got TONS of both. Its been a slow and ongoing process and we still have things we want to change, but this weekend we remodeled our entry way bathroom and changed the lights outside. With a little help from our recovering and handy Papa Goodrich and a lot of sweat, both projects were finished this weekend. Just thought I'd post some pictures I took of the finished projects. Thanks to Gram, Papa, Lo-smo-doe, and uncle T-doe for making the drive all the way to Texas to see us.
Here is Zack helping paint the bathroom in his Spiderman sunglasses and unders. He was just as happy as could be!
Dustin was not so happy to get his picture taken, but I made him smile!
Here is a picture of the new light fixtures out front, oddly enough, they make a huge difference from the ugly white numbers that were there before!
The finished product! Zack was more than happy to pose. And just as a side note, I installed the light fixture (I'm getting good at electrical work!) and Dustin put in the new sink faucet, which if you know how handy Dustin is (or ISN'T!) you would be impressed that he didn't flood the bathroom!

Your bathroom looks great!! We have been meaning to change out our outside lights, too. We need a Papa Goodrich!!
I'll do a drive-by and check out the lights.
Great job Stacie!
