Are you current?

Tonight I cut my finger on a can of green beans. I didn't even realize it until I saw blood dripping off my finger a couple minutes later... nice! Don't worry, I didn't contaminate our dinner. But I did have to go up to my work and get a Tetanus shot because it's been over 10 years since my last one. So this is my plug for your health. Are you current on your Tetanus shot? If you're not, you should go get one BEFORE you actually need it. You should get one every 10 years, unless you injure yourself (like a cut from rusty metal, etc), then you'll have to get one if its only been 5 years since your last shot. So do yourself a favor and get current on your Tetanus. You can get them at your local health department if you don't have a regular doc. And lastly ~ be a brave patient, it doesn't hurt, I promise!

p.s. I gotta be honest... the shot itself didn't hurt, but my arm is really feelin' it this morning!

I have no idea how long it's been since my last tetanus shot. You think Mom would know??? Maybe I should just get one just to be sure. Thanks for the advice and hope your finger is okay. Miss ya and love ya

Kerri just gave me a tetanus shot in Frisco the other day. She said "it might not hurt today or tomorrow, but you can bet your buns it will hurt the next day". And did it hurt the next day? I THINK NOT!!!
