Wake me up when December ends...

If there is anyway I can go to sleep and wake up on Christmas eve, I'm about ready to sign up! I'm venting... so you may want to skip over reading this post.
This moving crap is for the birds, and we're hardly doing any of the manual labor. For the past month I've been trying to get us all ready to leave Texas. This is not such an easy job when you have a cute little daughter named Courtney Fay. She's had a urinary tract infection for 3 months straight now. We are currently on our 5th antibiotic in this three month span. Crazy I tell you. Courtney HATES getting cathed for urine samples (can you blame her?) and we have to go back again next week (2 days before we leave) to see if she's finally infection free. I've had to schedule appointments with all her doctors over the past month too. It has been nice though to touch base with them all one last time. They have all been wonderful with Courtney. Between her pediatrician, urologist, geneticist, opthamologist, cardiologist and all of her early intervention team, we have a 3" binder full of medical records! She is actually doing very well for the most part, but at two years old, bless her heart, she is a very high maintenance, but the most lovable daughter ever. She makes me smile everyday when she tries to talk. It is the cutest thing, you know she's trying so hard to say something and when she actually gets it right, her face lights up! She continues to amaze me everyday with the progress she's making.
Zack is busy as can be. The other day he was searching high and low for his Spiderman backpack so he could "pack his cars, Transformers and dinosaurs to take to Las Vegas". He was very worried about us leaving his toys behind. I'm not sure how much of this he's grasping, but he's game for what ever. Mostly he's just concerned with the three small items on his Christmas list! The three things change from day to day, but for some reason, his list doesn't ever get longer than three things! Zack keeps me laughing, which is what I need most right now. He has these mannerisms that are so crazy and this little language that only he and Dustin can understand. He had his last soccer game two weeks ago and at the team party afterward they all got trophys and pictures and his team bought him a soccer ball and all signed it (as good as 4 & 5 year olds can write!). It was so cute! I almost started crying. And that is my other problem, I've been crying over everything. A soccer ball, a trip to the park down the street, my last Sunday at church in the nursery, I'm a walking mess these days. Apparently I like this place much more than I ever thought!
Dustin is just trying to keep me from losing my mind as much as he can. He tries not to worry me with small details, but if you know me at all, you know I'm all about the details, so I worry more! Surely it can not be easy being married to me, especially this month. His last day of work is this Friday. I think he's relieved and anxious to start his new job. But most of all, we'd just like our house to sale. And it's going no where. So we are off to St. George and will be staying at my parents house down there until our house here is no longer ours! Dustin is staying in a little apartment of his uncles during the week and will be coming up from Vegas on the weekends.
It is for this reason, I'd prefer if I could fast forward about three weeks from now and enjoy Christmas day!!! Until then, let the chaos continue!

This is a total rerun of when we moved to Vegas 3 years ago 2 weeks before Christmas as well! Yipers, It's really not fun. So, do you guys know where you'll be moving? You are SOOO welcome to stay with us whenever you want! I would love it! Come down and stay with us and I'll drive you around to look for places or whatever you want! We could even put movies on for our kids and eat bon bons in the other room! (That's my vote..ha ha)
Well, we are excited to have you Stac and Dust and kids. Our home is open also for you. Hope the move goes OK and hope Dustin isn't afraid of hanging out with AUNT Storey and UNCLE Ben.
