The LONG LONG LONG drive!

Well, we got our house all packed up. Even though we didn't actually do most of the packing, it was pretty stressful. They only sent one guy over to pack our whole house. It was pretty much a joke! Of coarse he didn't finish in one day and the next day when the movers came to load the truck, he was still packing our house! It was lame! After an entire day of loading the big old United truck we finally said good bye to Allen Texas... well, to Texas all together! It was an interesting 2 1/2 years here. I can't really come up with a word to describe this chapter of our lives. But it was very hard for me to say goodbye. I was crying as I shut out the light in our house and we pulled out of the driveway one last time. I loved that house! I love all the friends I made here (even though they may be few and far between), the friends I made here are real friends! I love all the doctors and therpists that helped us through the first two years of Courtney's life. I know we were in Texas for her and for all the help she recieved.

The drive to St. George was RIDICULOUSLY long... 21 hours long. I think Dustin and I complained more than the kids did. They were awesome on the drive here. The Accord was full to the max with little room for wiggling. We stopped in a small town in Texas about 5 hours out of Dallas because it was 11pm and we were both wasted from a long couple days of packing the house. The next morning we were about 25 miles down the highway from the hotel when we got a call on Dustin's cell phone. I had left my wedding ring and watch there. I know... what an idiot! We were sooooooo grateful that they were honest and called us. So back we went to pick it up! Dustin wasn't too happy, but he never got mad at me, just rolled his eyes!
When we finally got here we were greeted by my parents and had a nice meal waiting for us. It was so nice to actually not be in the dad gum car anymore. I am so grateful my parents are letting us stay in there house here until our house in Texas sells. Hopefully it won't be much longer. We'll see what's in store for us later!
