Think Warm...
So finally got the blog changed for the spring/summer. It only took about a month. My awesome sister-in-law did it for me. We sat down a couple other times to try and do it, but just weren't feelin' it. So because there is about 2 feet of snow at my mom's house, I decided to think warm and go colorful. When its August in Vegas and 115 degrees everyday, you may find snowflakes on my blog trying to remind me that it will cool down eventually.
Not much to report here. Dustin's family came down for a weekend visit, which was fun. We had a great lunch at the Pizza factory, it had been a while since I've eaten there, yummy! Still haven't sold our house, but we are trying to 'bloom where we have been planted'. My mom and aunt told me that my sweet Grandma Jorg use to say that a lot, so I'm trying to take it to heart. Some days are easier than others, but we get by! We all really miss Dustin during the week, I don't know how families live all the time with dad's that travel every week. By Thursday night, I've usually had it and want to go lock myself in a closet where the kids can't find me!!! But I don't, and we just keep on keepin' on!
We sure are lucky though to have a nice place to stay down here. I'm so grateful my parents let us hang out down here. And its great to have Bret and Ash around the corner. We eat dinners together, shop for each other at the grocery store and show up unannounced all the time, its great! We just finished planning the super bowl Sunday menu; mostly appetizers, full of calories and fat, but DE-licious! I myself, am rooting for the Giants, who doesn't love the under dog!
Here are some recent pics of the kids...
