Easter Happenings

I just can't seem to get things together enough to post pictures on time and as they happen, but here is what we were up to Easter weekend. My parents came down until Saturday and helped color some eggs with the kids. We had a fun picnic Saturday with my Gramma and Grampa Cooper, my aunt & uncle & Blake and my fam at the park. Its nice to be able to spend so much time outside. Sunday we had a nice time at the most packed Sacrament meeting I'd been to in a long time... LOTS of visitors, it was like being in a Stake conference meeting. Anyway, we had a nice day and the kids had lots of fun. It was great to have Dustin home for the weekend too.

Monday morning I made the 2 hour trek south for my doc appt, with both the kids. Everything looks good so far, even at 15 weeks, they were able to see all four chambers of the heart, and measure its brain size, legs, kidneys etc. I am also seeing a perinatologist along with my regular OB because of Courtney having a genetic disorder. I swear, the second I mentioned that she has Sotos Syndrome, I was red flagged. They are going to be following me a little closer just to be safe. More in depth ultra sounds, a fetal echocardiogram, genetic counseling, blood work, etc. They gave me the option of having an amniocentesis, but getting a needle stuck into my belly is not my idea of fun, so I'm opting out of that one. But with all of that, I feel good and have faith that everything will be okay with this baby. I just hope that I'm actually living down there when I deliver!

Coloring eggs with Grammy & Papa

Easter morning, Zack got an IPOD shuffle, which he LOVES. I think the Easter Bunny may have wanted it for himself, but Zack won't let it out of his sight!

Dust with the kids right before walking out the door to church. I wasn't quite ready yet, that 9:00 church really sneaks up on ya!

All the kids right before the big hunt outside Bret & Ashley's

Courtney hunting eggs, she needed a little bit of help, but I think she got the general idea of what to do.

After the hunt, all smiles, ready for all that candy!
