Camping... yes, camping!
Who says you can't camp when you're 7 months pregnant? Not me! This past weekend, instead of going to Salt Lake for our 10 year high school reunion, we decided to take the kids camping. I called up my brother and his family and on a moments notice... we were off. Bret took us to this fun little camp site called Baker Resevoir, not too far from St. George. We roasted hot dogs, made smores, the kids swam and we used our tent for the first time! Dustin grew up camping and has been wanting to take the kids for a while now, so this was our chance. Zack and Courtney had so much fun with their cousins and it was nice to get away from the 108 degree weather to only 90 degree weather! Thanks for the fun times Bret and Ash... we'll have to do it again soon (maybe we'll wait until after Ash & I have our babies though!).

I knew she would end up in the water, but at least they were both having fun! Courtney absolutely LOVES playing with Zack. She tries to do everything he does.

This little creek ran right beside our campsite. It kept the kids entertained for hours! 
Roasting hot dogs for dinner. Mmmmm, nothing better than a campfire hotdog (unless you got one that Bret made, it was more like a piece of burnt wood!)

If you look at Jake's hand carefully, you'll see a huge catepillar. We went to put his swimsuit on the second day there after it had been hanging in a tree to dry overnight and this little bugger was inside his suit. He screamed SO LOUD, it was great! Nothing like a fuzzy little catepillar on your bum in the morning to wake you up~

It wasn't too bad right? You failed to mention your sleepless night, Zack's sliver and Dustin's snoring. But other than that we definately made some fun memories. Thanks for the invite.

Fun! I'm jealous... It's been too long since I've been camping. Looks like you guys had fun. Kudos Stac for going 7 months pregnant.
Oh you are so much better than I am! Cory would love it if I loved camping! Camping to me is like a bad hotel. That sounds so bad! It looks like i was fun! Kesley has always had a blast in the past. I grew up in a family of five girls so that's why I am so not with the whole camping thing!I need to change my ways. I can't believe that you went seven months pregnant. you are my hero!

You are a trooper! Camping at 7 months prego...good on ya'! Looks like ya'll had a great time. Next time will you take Annie with you? She keeps asking Jake and I when we are going to go camping.
I did the same thing when I was 7 or 8 months pregnant with Ella. We went camping on some gross beach in Louisiana. Not the greatest camping experience in the world but we had a great time with great friends.
Oh the sacrifices we make for our family's fun.
