Just call me Martha

This week I've been one busy gal. I got a little carried away and accomplished not one, but TWO new things that I've never done before. This was fairly monumental for me because I just don't regularly do this kind of Betty Crocker stuff! But I made a quilt for one of our beds and canned a TON of food. It kept me occupied nearly the whole week, which made it go by lickity split! It was so fun to learn all sorts of things I had no idea about in the world of canning. Lucky for me my friend Destiny grew up canning with her grandma, so I just basically did what ever she directed me to do! But I had a fun time and learned a lot. Thanks Dest!

Here's the quilt I sewed. Turned out okay for a rookie!

We canned homemade salsa, raspberry/peach jam, tomato sauce, peaches and pears. It took us three days to do it all. I'm excited to start eating all this food!

And I just thought this picture was funny. This is what Zack & Courtney do with Mary Cate when they're bored! Throw her into Kiki's doll stroller and push her all over the house... and she likes it! Crazy kids

I thought that was my name? I guess we can both go by the same name. That means we are AWESOME! Which we totally are!

You're kids are too funny! Ours do the same thing except they take turns who sits in the baby stroller and who pushes.
