Being a mom...
This past week being a mom to me meant...
Watching this girl suffer in pain and not knowing what to do to make her feel better.
Holding her down for painful and uncomfortable tests,
Praying for her through my tears,
Losing my cool with doctors who don't know her,
Being grateful for other doctors who will go to bat for her,
Loving my family who loves us from a far,
Waiting for test results, doctor's calls and answers,
And wondering if this will ever pass...
Being her mom brings me joy beyond words, patience that never ends and strength that can only come from being held up by angels.I thank Heavenly Father everyday that I am her mom.
What a lucky gal I am!
