One last summer trip
The first day there I took my kids to Temple Square. None of them had ever been there so I thought it would be a great way to spend our morning!
After Temple Square we had a little lunch at Chic-fil-a (yum!) and then went to Wheeler Farm. My kids don't have the opportunity to see farm animals at all down here, so it was fun for them to check them out up close. We missed the cow milking time the first day, so we went back the next evening and they each got to milk a cow, which was a first for all of them too!
After the farm we caught a movie with Gramma Jorg, "Mr. Popper's Penguins", which the kids and myself thoroughly enjoyed, it was funny and had a cute message! Thanks Mom!
The following day we took a trip to the zoo with my sister Ashli and her kids and my mom. I can't believe how much the Hogle Zoo has changed over the years. They have a couple of great new animal exhibits that are really cool! We even saw a fun bird show too.
That night we did some serious crafting. My mom, me, my sister, Lisa and Kiley all made these super cute Halloween decorations while the kids painted some little wooden crafts that Lisa had. It was so fun and our projects turned out so cute!
The next day we just hung out, the kids just played outside in Gramma's yard and enjoyed the "cooler" weather, which was nice for a change.
I LOVE going home, it always makes me happy! Thanks mom and Ash for keeping us busy, love you!
