Finally!

Today, Will is one week old! When we got to the hospital this morning to visit, we had a nice little surprise... he was finally off the ventilator! AND bonus for me, I got to hold him for the first time!!! It was wonderful and special and tender. Its that moment most mothers get about 10 seconds after their babies are born, but I had to wait a week. He is so tiny and so sweet and I couldn't get enough of him! I did finally share with Dustin too, who was equally as happy to get to hold his baby boy!

And when we were all done holding him, he was wide awake! So of coarse we couldn't just leave him there alone. We waited for another 40 minutes until he was back peacefully sleeping to sneak on home. It's so sad to leave him, but it won't be much longer now!
