My Tutu

This is my Tutu. She is such a great lady and I love her so much! When I was in nursing school, I did a report on my grandma and when I was down in St. George interviewing her she showed this beautiful cape they had given all the students when they graduated in 1951. I remember thinking it was absolutely beautiful (think "Pearl Harbor" the movie) and wanted it! A few months ago I mentioned to her that when she was ready to part with her cape, I wanted it! So when she came down to visit her sister in Las Vegas this weekend, she brought it with her. I was so excited! I made her try it on and took a picture of her in it. It is in perfect condition and is an heirloom I will treasure forever!

On the collar are the letters LDSH for LDS Hospital, where she worked right after she graduated.

Inside the collar are her initials, V.K.P.

I snapped this picture of Will checking her out! It was pretty cute! She is quite the lady, my Tutu, and I can only hope that anything good that I become in my life is a reflection of what I have learned from her and from my own amazing Mother!
