Jorg Ohana 2013

This, the funnest of family vacations, has been in planning for months now. We had worked out every detail to make this trip successful and so much fun and it did not disappoint! We were celebrating my parents 40th wedding anniversary, and what a great way to do it!

We even had fun driving there. Our car was full of all the boys! Once we got there, the kids wasted NO time at all getting on the beach. The house we rented was right on the beach and just the coolest beach house ever!
Fun in the waves. Checkin' out the life guard tower in the evening.

This beach baby loved playing in the sand.

All because of these two love birds!

"selfie Sunday"...ew

And the boys couldn't pass up an opportunity to go to Dodger Stadium!

Day 1 at Disney started off with breakfast with Minnie & friends! The kids loved it!

Our nephew Isaac was always so thoughtful to include Courtney in the fun. He kept such a watchful eye over her to make sure she never wandered off and would go on rides with her when she was a little bit afraid. He is such a good boy and I'm so grateful for him and the example he is to all his younger cousins.

The whole crew fit onto the pirates ride.

NERD patrol!

My boys still smiling, even at 11pm.

If anyone needed a break from life, its this guy! He works so hard for our family and seems as though he never gets a rest from his pager. It was so nice not to have to worry if he was on call, when he would be coming home or leaving the house too. We had him all week to be just our Dad and my main squeeze!

William LOVED the ocean. He would crawl full speed ahead toward the waves and then we'd have to pull him up last minute when the waves came. HE loved it.

Built in best buds! Flying kites

Fun cousin action all week long

My Tutu came along for the fun too. This is a pic of her, auntie Ethel (her sister) and uncle Oni (her brother). I need to write down my Uncle Oni story so I don't ever forget it. Auntie Ethel cares for Oni (92 years old) because he has dementia and they live about 40 minutes from Newport. We spent an afternoon with them and some of my mom's cousins too. A couple of hours after they had left to go home I couldn't find my cell phone anywhere. So after about a half hour, Dustin looked on his "find my phone" app (that he had just downloaded about 2 weeks prior) and it said the phone was in Gardena. I asked my Grandma if she had Ethel's address, and sure enough my phone was at her house. So anyhow, I called Auntie Ethel to ask if somehow she had accidentally put my phone in her bag because I was fairly sure it was at her house. She immediately told me Uncle Oni sometimes takes stuff he thinks is his and that is probably what happened. She went and checked his pockets and it wasn't there so she checked his dresser drawer and sure enough, he had already put it away, safe and sound, in his dresser! We now call taking stuff or losing it, pulling an Oni! So funny!!!

Day 2 of Disney was spent in California Land. It was so awesome!!! Such fun rides and great food!

Cars Land was the absolute GREATEST! It looks and feels just like you're in the movie. So cute!

And even after being in a stroller all day, this baby was still smiling!

Us with Lightening McQueen

We rented some bikes and cruised the board walk. Stopped at the snack shop for a frozen banana and William decided to crap his pants or really the entire baby seat for that matter! So gross! Lindy snapped this great pic of Dustin cruisin' with his shirt off, he's bringing sexy back ;)!

Went over to Balboa island to check it out.

Matchy, matchy family shirts! 40 years, 4 kids, and 15 grandkids later... my parents ROCK! My family means everything to me and spending the whole week with them was awesome!

Because in the end, family will always be there for each other! I want to go back already!
