Back to School

Back to school! Where does the time go?! I can't believe we're back at the beginning of a new school year again. Our sweet Courtney is in 1st grade and has the same wonderful teacher as she had last year, Mrs. Pete. The bus still picks her up and drops her off at our front door, which is extremely helpful, but it comes oh so early (7:00 am). She is a trooper to wake up with a smile on her face. 

And this boy is now in his last year of elementary school, a big 5th grader! He loves Nike Elite socks and spent 10 minutes getting his outfit ready for the big first day! He got Ms. Sabbs as his teacher, which he kept telling me ALL summer long she was who he wanted. She seems so kind and full of energy. Can't believe how big he's gotten!

And this little girl was left behind alone. I had her all registered to go to kindergarten and about a week ago I had a very strong impression that I should keep her back and wait another year to start kinder. So by some miracle, I found a great preschool close by with an opening and she is all set to go for a 3rd year of preschool! CRAZY!
