Her turn...

Birthday season is in full swing around here! 3 birthdays in our family in 3.5 weeks.  BUSY! Mary Cate has been looking forward to her 5th birthday because that's when we told her she could get her ears pierced. Its not a magic number or anything, its just how old Courtney was when she got hers done, so we told Mary her 5 year birthday was the one! 

She was very excited, but when we went in there was only one gal working, so I knew piercing the 2nd ear would be a bit of a challenge. She got her ears marked, sat on my lap and the lady pierced them super quick. Mary cried a little bit, and the second ear was a little more tricky because she was moving... but 30 seconds after it was done, she was done crying and couldn't stop admiring her new heart ear rings. In fact, she kept looking in the mirror all day just to see them. Such a cutie!

She got this "Brave" Merida dress from the Disney store, along with the DVD and a couple of other things.  She was happy as a clam!
