The countdown to Christmas...
What a fun season its been around here so far. The kids are FULL of excitement for Christmas day! They tell me everyday what they want Santa to bring them, it usually changes from day to day, so its been hard to pin point exactly what they want. But Santa usually pulls through for them in the end.
This year we had the wonderful opportunity to help 2 different families make Christmas for their children extra awesome. I had many conversations with Zack about the spirit of giving and love during the holiday season, he's been having a little bit of a rough time catching the spirit, but I think we got him there!
Things here are busy as usual, but we get through each day with a grin and keep on going! Here are some pictures of what we've been up to!
I can't resist taking pictures of these two when they match! They don't look a thing alike, but they are certainly the best of friends. Always playing together!
OUCH! Not sure if you can see the giant goose egg on my forehead. I slammed a car door into my head (graceful, I know) and it HURT SO BAD! I would've started crying, except it was my friends car and I tried to act like it didn't hurt, but oh my, it hurt like a beast!!!
All the kids looked so adorable before church so I had to get them all together and snap a quick pic. Even though they like to tease and argue, I know they all love each other and would be lost with out any one of them not here!
How cute it this kid?! This is what he does when we say prayers. He holds his hands together and squints his face together pretending to close his eyes, but never actually closes them. It's adorable!
Mary had a little dance performance to show us what they've been up to so far this year!
Another awards assembly, another award for being an awesome kid! He's been working hard on his grades and we hope he can get on the A-B honor roll next trimester.
Dustin submitted the kids O-H-I-O picture to the osu.edu website and they were on the front page for a few days! He was a proud daddy!
Cutest Kiki got to go rollerskating for the first time with her girl scout troop. Sadie's mom had to take her because Dustin wasn't home from work so I couldn't go. I was sad I missed out on it, but Michelle said the girls had a blast!
Our darling neighbor girl dances with a company who put on a performance of the Nutcracker and I thought it would be fun to take the girls to see a real ballet! It was a little longer than they would've liked, but they enjoyed watching all the dancers in the amazing costumes.
