The funny things he says...

Being the air headed mom I am, I totally forgot to take any pictures on Christmas day. We have it all recorded on the video camera, but not the digital. This is why you just get a funny quote from Zack. We had a great Christmas day. It was preceded by the death of my cousin, Brittany Jorgensen, on Dec. 20th. You can't quite describe that feeling when you find out a loved one has passed away unexpectedly, but I had that feeling. She was a happy, smilely, sweet girl and will be missed greatly by all who knew her. With that, we went into our Christmas holiday even more intent on keeping that wonderful spirit of Christmas and Christ in our home.
Oddly enough we had to wake up our kids for Christmas, I think I was more excited than they were. Zack was done opening presents after he saw his new Buzz Lightyear with wings. We had to beg him to open up the rest, which he quickly tossed aside and kept right on playing with Buzz and hasn't stopped since. Dustin and I now just say no when he asks to "play Buzz with me". It loses its fun factor after the first 3 minutes! My dad just laughs at us. He told me that Zack will be in high school wanting new Buzz gear for Christmas or trying to design himself a pair of Buzz wings! I don't doubt it, I'll have to special order size 18 Buzz jammies! Courtney was just happy as could be enjoying her new Leapster table. She just had ear tubes put in and her adenoids out on the 22nd, so she's been quite the trooper.
Okay, so the point of this blog entry... Yesterday Dustin and I were trying on our new Christmas clothes and looking at ourselves in the mirror. I was commenting to him how much I liked my new outfit from JCREW. Zack walked in and looked at up both us and said, "You guys are lookin' GOOD!" and then he walked out and kept on playing with his Buzz Lightyear. We started cracking up laughing. He keeps us grounded and we sure love having him and Courtney around... for infiniti and beyond!
