Back to reality...

We had a wonderful trip home for the new year. It was great! Most of the time was spent in the company of our families, the rest was sleeping! That's all we did was soak up all the Papa and Grammy, aunt and uncle and cousin time we could. I knew going into it that Courtney would not be easily upersuaded away from me, and she wasn't. She was a real piece of work, cried a lot, but I don't think her grandparents cared, or her uncle Riley. He would take her crying and screaming and get her to fall asleep on his shoulder. Zack LOVES playing with all his cousins and uncle TJ (who's 7 yrs old!). He ran himself ragged and is still trying to recover from fun overload! It was great. I had a fun birthday, and as always, enjoyed myself a delicious BBQ hot dog, with ketchup only! It has kind of become my New Year/Birthday tradition.
The only terrible thing that ruined the end of a spectacular holiday season was the Ohio State Buckeyes forgeting how to play football for the big championship game. It was pretty painful to watch, then as the game progressed, it just kind of became a joke! But you have to give some credit to Urban, he really knows how to coach some football!
I hope everyone reading is doing well. Courtney has a whole week of specialty appointments next week, so I will keep you posted on what they tell us. Until then... keep on smiling!
