Easter in the ER
Yes, that's right... the ER. Courtney woke up with a high fever, which isn't all that ER worthy, but she was acting very strange, crying on and on, being very clingly, tired, breathing weird, abdominal pain etc. Dustin and I debated for a couple hours whether to take her in or not, but we decided to just in case something was really wrong with her. So off the the ER we went and off to church Zack went with Gram and Papa Goodrich and uncle TJ. I hate ER's, they are ridiculous and have no idea of what efficiency is. Four hours later the lame doctor came in told us she had what he thinks looks like another UTI. I know I'm not a doctor, don't claim to be one either... but she doen't have a UTI. I asked what the results showed and they were pretty much unremarkable. I think he was just going off her history. I would've been perfectly happy with the "its viral, theres nothing we can do" speech. Whatever... at least she seems to be doing better today. She's napping right now.
So needless to say, no cute pics of the kids in their Easter outfits because they didn't wear them! Next week we'll try again. On the bright side, we came home from the ER and Cathie (my mom-in-law) had made the best Easter dinner ever. It was delicious and a nice treat to come home to. Anyhoo, here are some pictures of the kids dying eggs on Saturday and our own little Easter Egg hunt we did in the backyard for them. Zack dying Easter eggs.
Courtney watching as we all colored the eggs.
Her own little special "hunt"
Look what I found!

Stac- what a bummer. I hope that sweet thing is better. Looks like the hunt was fun and that your cute in-laws really take care of you. Thank goodness for family. Love you!

So sad, I hope she's doing better and you can always claim to be a Dr. around me!
Stace, nice job on the blog. It's looks great. This HTML crap is a whole other language, so I am glad you figured it out.

I like the new look! It's so fun to see everyone's personality as they personalize their blogs. Guess I need to get on that! So sorry about Easter. Better luck next year. Hopefully we'll see you soon!
