This past conference weekend the kids and I were able to go home for a visit. The reason we actually went was because my very good friend, Heather Teeples' dad passed away after a brief battle with brain cancer. I wanted to go to his funeral and hear Heather speak. She did a phenomenal job, I don't think I could ever speak at my dad's funeral, but she did and it was amazing. It was such a sad, but neat funeral, he was a great guy, and at least we have the knowledge that she will be able to see her dad again.
While we were in Utah, we took a little weekend trip down to St. George. My brother and his family live down there and my parents have a place down there too. So my whole family was able to be together (except my great husband who had to stay home for work). It was a crazy, loud, fun-filled weekend. Zack was loving his cousins and has been singing a silly song that Jake taught him about his arm pit, ever since we got home! It was great to be around all my wonderful family, we even got to see my G & G Cooper. My grandma is now officially called Tutu (which is Great-Grandma in Hawaiian) by all the kids. I love my family, hopefully one day we will live closer and be able to enjoy their company on a more regular basis.
As for life back in Texas, nothing new. Doctors appointments, physical therapy, work, preschool... the same old stuff. Courtney should be getting her new hearing aids sometime next week. I ordered her some cute baby pink hearing aids so she will be styling! I'll post some pictures once we get them. My awesome in-laws just got in town today to spend Easter with us. We are looking forward to a fun holiday weekend. Hope you all have a great Easter weekend as well. Until then...
