Nothing like an old friend...

While I was in Utah, I was able to attend the funeral of Grampa Mauss. It was a wonderful memorial service of a great man. After the services I was able to catch up with all the Mauss's and Beynon's (who I hadn't seen a quite a while). There is just nothing quite as great as an old friend. I've know Jake and Zach for as long as I can remember, pretty much my whole life. I absolutely adore both of their wives and admire the father's they have both become. Old friends are ones that, even if its been two years since you've seen them, its seems like its only been two weeks. There is always good conversation and smiles.
There are so many people I've been able to get to know again through bloggging... what a great thing it is. I can see pictures of my dear friends and family being moms and dads too. Without it, I would only get to see my nieces and nephews every few months and would probably not know what most of your kids look like. But now I can hear about the crazy things that everyone goes through on a day to day basis. Seeing pictures of all my old girlfriends as mothers just amazes me. Our kids have become the center of our lives and I love every second of it. Here's to all my old friends and new ones too, I love you all!

Oh my hair! I have such great memories of hanging out with you and Becks in Jerusalem! What a great time. You were just the person I needed at that moment in my life and I cherish our friendship. I hope we can connect sometime soon since we both live in Texas!
You look great niece! Blogging is good, isn't it? Give my best wishes to the Mauss family. They were always good to me.
