We made it home...
Last week we DROVE... yes drove to Utah.
Dustin's little brother TJ was getting baptized and we wanted to be there for him.It was so good to see everyone. I hadn't seen many of his aunts, uncles and cousin's for quite a while, so it was fun to catch up with everyone. We had such a fun time there. Dustin and I were able to catch a quick session at the Salt Lake Temple. We don't get the chance to do that down here much because our schedules are so opposite. We got some family pictures taken with the Goodrich's up Emigration Canyon. Hopefully they'll turn out good. Thanks Tori for organizing that and making the drive down to SLC. We went to Wheeler Farm with my brother and sister and their kids. Zack liked seeing all the animals and between him and Jake (our nephew) those poor ducks won't ever be the same, they were chasing them everywhere!
Everyone checking out the duck pond.
The girls trying to see the ducks over the fence.
All the kids on the tractor trailer ride.
We also went up to Park City to the Alpine Slides. We had so much fun up there. It was great to be up in the mountains.
If you live in Utah, you probably take for granted the beautiful mountains, if you use to live in Utah, but now don't any more, you'll know what I mean when I say how much I miss them being right outside the window. I miss being able to go up the canyon when ever I felt like it and wish I would've done it more when I lived in Utah. But anyway... we had fun up there, eating snowcones and going to the park afterward.
Coming down the Alpine Slide. Zack sharing his snowcone with Courtney, he can be nice when he feels like it!
Courtney and Grammy Jorg at the park behind Main Street.
It was a LONG drive to Utah and back (almost 21 hours each way), but we enjoyed our time there. We always do.

Hey Stace! It was fun to see you and the fam last week. It wasn't long enough, but was fun while it lasted. We miss you all already! Love ya!
I didn't know you were headed to Utah! Lucky! Looks like the cousins all had fun together. Now come to Houston, what do you say? Or maybe I'll just make my way up to Dallas. Call me. xoxo
Looks like you guys had a good time while you were here! I am sorry we missed you. Hopefully next time you are in town we will be able to see each other!
What a fun trip! Cute family!
Stac-
Looks like a great trip. I especially love the pic of TJ and the pic of the girls peering over the fence. Hope all is going well.
you are brave to make the trek up to utah. I have done in more times than I care to think about, however, I never had kids! Looks like it was worth it though!
Hi Stacie, I was happy to see your comment on my blog. I always like to look at yours. Your kids are so cute. I can't believe how big they are getting. I think the picture of Zack sharing his snowcone with Courtney is so sweet. You have one cute family.
Hi Stace! I can't believe you did that drive! You need an award or something. That's an amazing feat!! Dustin has an 8 year old brother?! Wow! Your mom looks like a 25 year old in that last pic. Amazing.
