Happy Birthday to our Kiki girl!

I can't believe that Courtney is turning three years old! There are so many special things that we love about our little girl. We started calling her Kiki soon after she just learned to talk. This is what she refered to her self as, we thought it was so cute that the name stuck. Words can't describe how amazing Courtney is and what a special role she plays in our family. She is such a thoughtful, kind and loving little girl. Courtney has been given different challenges in life than most other kids her age. Overcoming and dealing with her challenges has made her the amazing girl she is today. Not enough can be said about her sweet little spirit. Just as a few examples; whenever someone sneezes she is the first one to say "bless you". Whenever her baby sister starts crying she pipes up and says "oop Mary's cryin'" and runs to the rescue by trying to gag her with a binki, but we know she is just trying to help. Whenever we say "it's time to say prayer", Courtney is the first one to fold her arms to get ready for the prayer. She is by far the best at obeying mom and dad when we ask her to do something, she'll jump right up and do it the first time. When she sings her version of 'I am a child of God', and 'Book of Mormon Stories' it is possibly one of the cutest things you've ever heard. And nothing tops when you put her to bed at night and before you walk out of the room, she always says "I love you too dad, or mom". It's the best feeling in the world to be loved back by Kiki! I could go on forever about how darling I think she is, but we're just blessed to have her in our lives and for the wonderful example she is to all of us. We love you Courtney Fay, Happy Birthday!
