This 'n That

I had one of those weeks last week. The kind you are really glad when its over! Court had three consecutive days of being "tested" for the head start preschool. We'd been waiting three months for these appointments & on day one this is what happened on my way there. My very first flat tire, LAME! Court, Mary & I waited on the side of the freeway for over an hour for roadside assistance to come change my tire. We were almost two hours late for our appointment, but they still saw us. And the topper was getting my first speeding ticket ever. What a crappy week!

I took Mary Cate to her two month appointment last Thursday. She weighs in at a whopping 8.07 lbs. and is 19.75 inches long. She's still smaller than Courtney was when she was born! But I can definitely tell she is getting bigger. She has proven to be quite the fussy baby though. She doesn't feel like sleeping much during the night and would prefer to be held ALL THE TIME! I don't mind it though because she's my last baby, so I'm trying to enjoy every moment, even the loud ones!

This is our niece Sara, isn't she cute! We drove up to Utah over the weekend for her blessing. Ryan & Tori live in Bear Lake so we drove up all the way up there for Sara's blessing. To Zack's delight there was SNOW everywhere! He was so excited he ran outside in his socks to play. It was so cold, but we had fun seeing where they live. It was actually Dustin's very first time in Bear Lake. We'll definitely have to go back next summer when it warms back up again.

It was a quick trip up north, but we always have fun spending time with our families. Here is a picture of the kids at my mom's house for Sunday dinner. We don't get to enjoy Sunday dinner at our parents very often, so its always a treat when we do!

Wow, that did not sound like a fun week. Oh don't worry- when I got my first flat tire at 16, I called my dad and he told me to figure it out myself "That's the only way you'll learn!" So sure enough, I had to try and figure out how to change a flat. At least I can do it now if I ever do get stuck on the side of the freeway right? lol Anyway, it was really fun to see you guys! Hopefully I'll be able to make it to Mary's blessing if Ty and Whit don't bless Gwen the same month. Love and miss you all!

Sorry about the crappy week. So is Courtney in the program?? Mary is adorable, Mallory is the same weight but 2 inches longer. Could I possibly have a tall kid?? It would be my first. Really great things are about to start happening to you!!

Rough day Stac - We really need to get together soon for a Sunday dinner or something! Your 4 month old cousin needs to get to know you better.
Hope all is well. We are thinking about you and Dust - especially when we watch "the Biggest ..."

You've got to be kidding me SJ. What is your deal? Speeding tickets, flat tires, hospital visits. Enough is enough. That is one bad week. Have a Coke on the rocks for me. :) P.S. Please call so we can discuss Christmas vacationing.

Sorry about the tire... and the ticket! That does make quite the crappy week! And if you were getting any sleep at night, it probably wouldn't have seemed so bad! I'm feeling your pain in that aspect though! Hang in there... and call us when you're up in SLC. We'd love to see you guys!
