Its beginning to look a lot like...

Zack is off track right now for school. So I spend most of my day trying to keep him entertained, its especially rough for him while Kiki is at school. She is on the traditional 9 month school, so that makes it just a little more interesting around here. We're always having to bring our "A" game! This is Zack with our "Elf on the Shelf" we kindly named "Jack". He made him a matching Buckeye jersey! Jack flies to Santa every night to report the days events and when he comes back, he lands in a new spot in our house. Zack likes to talk to him and drag him around the house. He has become my biggest bargaining chip to date. I'm a serious fan of Jack, he is a lifesaver!
Tonight at dinner Zack made him a table with his own plate, cup and fork. I stopped him before he actually poured the little guy a cup of milk! We then had the following conversation.
Z: "Mom, I don't think Jack actually flies at night."
M: "Well then how does he move around?"
Z: "I think somebody moves him."
M: "Who?"
Z: "Santa comes to move him every night."
M: "You just might be right buddy, you never know!"

Here is Court playing legos in her candy cane jammies. She is such a sweetheart! We're not really sure what she does at school every day, but she comes home with a smile. Every time we ask her how school was, she usually just smiles and walks away onto the next activity. So even though we don't know what she does there, we just hope that something is clicking inside her cute little head!

This is the first year Dustin has put lights up on our house. Our roof was entirely too high up in Texas, so this was his maiden voyage on the fine art of Christmas exterior lighting decor. Dustin is much too accident prone to put lights on the upper roof part. I wouldn't let him climb on our roof, it had broken arm written all over it. Even though its a little weak, Dust did the Clark Griswold when he went to plug them in by singing, "Joy to the World", it was great, and the kids sure love to drive up to our house at night!

And what would a post be without a picture or two of my sweet little Mary Cate. She is starting to not be so whiney and is becoming more content just lying around watching all the action. I took her to the doctor yesterday for a Synagis shot (which helps prevent RSV in premies) and she now weighs 10.5 lbs. and growing everyday!

You kids are darling. I think I may have to get a Jack in my house. I wish I were there when Dustin did the Joy to the world:) Mary Cate is getting so big. I am glad all is well.

Oh my gosh, I swear Mary gets cuter and cuter every time I see her! I just invested in a Mr. Peeks myself :) even though Sara is still a little too young. I'm excited to see you and your kids. Love and miss you guys!

I hear the Elf on the Shelf is GREAT! I should probably get one here. The kids are all so cute!

Oh...in regards to the comment about no lights on the roof here in Texas....the new neighbors have lights all over your old house! I can't believe he got a ladder and went that high up!
